The house is in a small borgo on a hillside near Caprese Michelangelo (10 min). The villages of Lama (5 min) and Fragaiolo are nearby offering bars and restaurant. In the photo gallery is a photo taken from the restaurant in Fragaiolo to which you can walk through chestnut woods.
A nicely restored stone-built house on three levels.
Besides the terraces the property has a good-sized piece of land just a few metres down from the house.
The property is accessed by a white road of 1300m in good condition.
Mains electricity. Spring supplying water for house and irrigation. Bottled gas supplying hot water. All pipework has been installed for central heating but the radiators need to be fitted. Septic tank drainage.
This is a nice house in a tranquil setting, but not isolated.
I think I would change the narrow stairs up to the mansard with something a bit wider.
The land. It is a little wild at the moment but offers the possibility of growing vegetables and planting fruit trees. It is also a great spot for a quiet read.
