>MEETING POINT<

>MEETING POINT< is a place where people, in private, can share their experiences, discuss their problems, make new friends, arrange to meet up, and provide a bit of help and support for others that have moved to Umbria, or are about to.

It takes place in two ways:

  1. Firstly, through a password protected Private Forum on our website with contact only at that level.  This is in addition to the Public Forum that has been running for some time on the website that anyone can access. Later we plan to provide a chat-room where people can converse live online with others or as a group.
  2. Secondly, it is a chance to meet up with others for a drink and a chat, group visits to film or theatre (in English), occasional social get-togethers, or linking up for a specific activity; painting, photography, walks, play reading, etc.  Those who wanted to might well enjoy inviting newcomers for a meal (getting them away from their packing cases and chaos for a while!) or even acting as a sort of mentor if they lived not too far away.

John Tordoff and Maurice Reeve, who came out from England to settle in Collazone in the Tiber Valley, are responsible for co-ordinating >MEETING POINT<.  If you wish to be involved simply complete the form below and we will pass the information on to them.
