Oliveto is a charming holiday home that has been recently restored to combine comfortable facilities with rustic charm in a location that is convenient yet with incredible panoramic views over the Tiber Valley and its own olive grove below.
Situated on the outskirts of the castle walls of the hill-top village of Castello delle Forme, the house is just 20 mins drive away from the market town of Marsciano and 30 mins drive from the regions medieval capital Perugia. Oliveto is perfectly situated to explore the area or relax and enjoy the hilly green landscape. Assisi, Orvieto Todi and Lake Trasimeno are all accessible within 1 hour of the house.
The house has three bedrooms, two doubles and a twin. There are two bathrooms, one of which is an en suite shower room, the other a family bathroom with shower over the bath. The lounge has log-burning stove and doors to the sun terrace. There are terracotta floors, white-washed walls, beamed ceilings, brick arches and exposed stone to some walls creating an authentic Italian farmhouse feel but with well-equipped kitchen and modern facilities to ensure a stress free stay.
